characterized by calorie and energy deficiencies
MOST COMMON IN DEVELOPED COUNTRIES
1 kwashiorkor
2 Cachexia
A child with masamune looks emaciated and the body weight may reduce to less than 80% of the normal weight for that height
Do you..
1) have dry skin and loose skin folds hanging over the glutei (aka butt cheeks)?
2) have drastic loss of adipose tissue (a tissue that exists beneath the skin) from normal areas of fat deposits like the butt and thighs?
3) or fret often, is irritable, and always voraciously hungry?
If you do suffer from any of the above, you better watch out for MARASMUS!! haha but not to worry.. it usually occurs at age 1 :D hehe
